It is not known at this time whether ESYC will construct a new field on Allentown State Hospital property or have a field constructed at Keck Park. |

The open space on the property serves as a counter point to the preserved South Mountain lands across the river...ESYC had wanted to use some of this open space of the Allentown State Hospital to establish football and baseball fields for its program ... This desire resulted in a meeting arranged by REACH to debate the issue ... Currently the Donley Campus for a Head Start Program is located in building which were one used by the Allentown State Hospital... A number of years ago there was controversy by neighbors who now form Charlottes Neighborhood about Housing for ex-patients on the perimeter of the property. |
